Senior Inspection Coordinator (NDT)


About the role

Location: Turkmenistan (Full-time, Onshore).

We are recruiting a Senior Inspection Coordinator to lead and coordinate in-service inspection and corrosion monitoring activities for oil & gas assets in Turkmenistan. This role requires a strong inspection background, proven leadership, and the ability to control inspection quality, documentation, and team performance in a live plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day inspection and integrity activities, including manpower planning, task allocation, and work execution follow-up

  • Supervise and guide inspectors, ensuring consistent quality of work and reporting output

  • Review and approve inspection reports, ensure timely close-out of findings and corrective actions

  • Review and comment on welding documentation and procedures (including WPS) as required

  • Review contractor/subcontractor inspection procedures and develop internal procedures where needed

  • Provide technical support across inspection disciplines, including awareness of NDT and coating/painting inspection fundamentals

  • Interpret and comment on engineering documents (GA drawings, P&IDs, mechanical catalogues)

  • Ensure work is executed under site PTW/HSE requirements and in accordance with applicable industry standards/codes

  • Prepare management updates and maintain inspection documentation to a high standard

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in inspection / corrosion monitoring for in-service (live plant) oil & gas assets

  • Valid certification(s) such as API 510 and/or API 653, and/or CSWIP/PCN welding inspection (3.1 or Senior 3.2), and/or recognized coating inspection certification (e.g., NACE / IMM / SSPC / FROSIO or equivalent)

  • Ability to lead teams, organize work, and deliver results under operational pressure

  • Practical understanding of NDT methods (applications and limitations) and painting/coating inspection fundamentals

  • Good knowledge of commonly used inspection-related codes/standards in oil & gas

  • Ability to read and comment on drawings (GA, P&ID) and related technical documentation

  • Ability to review/approve inspection reports, comment on WPS, and evaluate inspection procedures

  • Computer literacy (MS Office); strong technical reporting and communication skills

  • Good English (written and spoken)


Conditions

  • Resident position in Turkmenistan (full-time) with on-call readiness

  • Fixed monthly salary in USD

  • Visa/travel/accommodation/meals provided as per company policy

  • Home leave schedule to be agreed based on operational needs
