Description
ESDA was contracted to provide comprehensive mechanical valve maintenance services for PCTSB. The project encompasses preventive and corrective maintenance, refurbishment, testing, and calibration of mechanical valves and pressure safety valves (PSVs). All activities were performed in compliance with COMPANY-approved procedures and international standards such as API 598. The services were delivered both onsite and at ESDA's workshop, ensuring the operational reliability and safety of critical valve systems across PCTSB’s facilities.
Activities

Inspection and Reporting: As-found inspection, joint inspections with COMPANY representatives, and detailed refurbishment reports with full documentation.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Flushing, greasing, sealant injection, and sealant fitting replacement, including touch-up painting.

Valve Refurbishment: Full dismantling, internal parts replacement, reconditioning (lapping, polishing, welding, coating), and reassembly with function and torque testing.

Valve Testing: Hydrotesting and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) per COMPANY and international standards.

Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) Calibration and Testing: Offline calibration, overhaul, set pressure testing, and certification on COMPANY’s test bench.

Preservation and Storage: Post-maintenance cleaning, drying, and compliant packaging for storage and transport.
- Logistics Support: Collection, delivery, and handling of valves using suitable transportation and lifting equipment.
